Our courses, in Intereuropa School, certificated by Instituto Cervantes, are designed to help you develop effective and principled teaching practice. As well as receiving input from our tutors about key topic areas related to teaching Spanish, you will also have substantial hands-on teaching practice to turn theory into practice.
Who are these courses aimed to?
Existing teachers – if you are already working as a teacher but have not had much formal training, these courses will offer you the opporunity to sharpen your teaching practice and prove your ability.
Potencially teachers – if you are not a teacher but would like to enter the teaching world, these courses will offer you the necessary tools to achieve your goals.
Objectives:
- the principles of effective teaching
- a range of practical skills for teaching Spanish to all age learners
- valuable hands-on teaching experience.
Procedure:
Theoretical lessons + Teaching Practice
You will attend theoretical lessons + teach for a number of hours, working with classes at some levels of ability. Assessment is based on your overall performance at the end of these lessons pratice.
You will also complete four written assignments that focus on:
- analysing and responding to learner needs
- analysing language for teaching purposes
- teaching language skills
- reflecting on classroom teaching.

Type of courses:
INTENSIVE
Description → After completing the course, the students will receive a certificate attesting to their participation and number of hours worked.
Classes will run from Monday to Friday in groups of maximum 10 students.
An accredited B2 level is required
Duration: 2 weeks/ 30hs a week
Total hours: 60hs
Schedule: mornings from 09:30 to 14:00 or afternoons from 14: 30-19:00 (subject to changes)
Procedure: Theorical + practical lessons and observation work

COURSE + TUTORING PRACTICES
Description → This course consists of classroom observation with the accompaniment of a tutor. The course program will be designed based on the needs of the trainee teacher, to increase their knowledge base in planning, teaching classes and evaluation of results.
The first week will be observing lessons + 1 hour of tutoring with the teacher.
The second week the student will teach classes (20 classes from Monday to Friday) in cooperation with the tutor and tutoring 1hr 30mins available Monday through Thursday in which the next day lessons will be prepared.
This course is designed for teachers with previous experience and you will be required to send your CV.
Duration: 2 weeks
Total hours: 60 hs
Schedule:
First week : mornings from 09:30 to 14:00
Second week: mornings from 09.30 to 13.00 from Monday to Friday + from 13.30 to 15.00 Monday to Thursday
Procedure: real classroom observation + monitoring teaching lessons.
